Job summary

Bradley Manor Care Home, part of Healthcare Ireland Group, in Belfast, is seeking a Care Assistant to provide person-centred support and companionship to residents. The role focuses on daily living activities, empathy, and maintaining a safe, respectful environment.

You will work as part of a frontline team, following care plans and collaborating with nurses to ensure comfort, dignity and high-quality care for residents.

Established in 2015, Bradley Manor Care Home was the first home within the Healthcare Ireland Group and remains a proud example of compassionate, person-centred care. We provide tailored support to meet the individual needs of each resident, ensuring dignity, comfort, and quality of life.

Our home accommodates 79 residents across three specialist units: Residential Dementia, Dementia Nursing, and General/Frail Elderly Nursing. This allows us to offer a seamless continuum of care as needs evolve over time.

Set in a scenic location with stunning views over Belfast, Bradley Manor offers a peaceful and uplifting environment for both residents and their families.

The Role

You will pride yourself on providing high-quality, person-centred care to our residents, fostering a welcoming environment where residents are treated with respect and dignity, and staff feel valued and supported. As part of our frontline team, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the Home, assisting with activities of daily living ensuring the wellbeing and comfort of residents. As a Care Assistant, you will also provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering meaningful relationships and promoting a sense of compassion; an advocacy for the rights and preferences of our residents.

About The Role
Main Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as dressing, bathing, eating, and mobility.
