Job summary

Avery Healthcare Beaconsfield Heights Care Home in Beaconsfield is seeking a Care Assistant to deliver high standards of personal care and support the care team to ensure continuity of services for residents.

You'll join a warm, enthusiastic team with induction and training. We value compassion, respect, and accountability, and there are opportunities to learn and develop within our caring environment. DBS check and right-to-work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

  • Able to adapt and cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high standards of personal care and support the care team to ensure continuity of services for residents.
  • Assist residents with personal hygiene while promoting independence, dignity and respect.
  • Recognise clinical risk areas and escalate concerns promptly.
  • Maintain courteous interactions with residents and visitors and uphold the residents' dignity.

About The Role

Your focus as Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.

Other Responsibilities Will Include
  • Assisting residents in all their personal hygiene care ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect of individuals at all times.
  • Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas in residents such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, sign of infections and escape any identified risks in a timely manner.
  • Acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
  • Practicing safe systems of work across the range of task.
