London Care, part of the CCH Group, is seeking compassionate Care Professionals to support Basildon clients in their own homes. You will travel to client locations within Basildon and surrounding areas and receive paid training, travel time, and a supportive team culture.

We offer day and evening shifts in full-time or part-time patterns, with guaranteed time for travel and a commitment to work-life balance. Access to a vehicle and a full driving licence are required.

Work Locations As this is a community-based role, you will be traveling to support clients within their local communities. We proudly provide high-quality care across Basildon and the surrounding areas, primarily covering:

• Brentwood, Billericay, Harlow, Langdon Hills, Pitsea, Havering, Redbridge, Wickford, and the surrounding communities.

Access to a vehicle and a full driving licence are required due to the geographical nature of the role.

• Day Shifts: 7:00/8:00 AM – 3:00/4:00 PM
• Evening Shifts: 3:00/4:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing Day to Day

As a Care Professional, you’ll help clients live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes:

• Personal Care: Assisting with washing, dressing, toileting, and incontinence support.
• Medication Support: Helping clients manage their prescriptions safely.
• Meal Preparation: Assisting with cooking and nutrition.
• Practical Tasks: Shopping and light housekeeping (laundry, tidying).
• Companionship: Providing vital emotional support and a friendly face.
• Care Planning: Following personalised plans designed to promote dignity and independence.

Qualifications

What You’ll Need (Besides a Cape!) You don’t need formal care experience! The skills you’ve gained from raising a family, caring for loved ones, or running a household are exactly what makes a brilliant Care Professional. Full, paid training is provided. We’re looking for:

• Genuine empathy, compassion, and respect for others
• Reliability and a naturally caring nature
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Great communication and a collaborative team spirit
• The right to work in the UK (Please note: As an employer, we are unfortunately unable to offer Visa sponsorship).
