Job summary

Constance Care (Part of CCH Group) in Ayr is seeking a Community Care Professional to visit local homes, supporting independence, dignity, and wellbeing for adults in the Ayr community.

You’ll have truly flexible hours—full-time, part-time, mornings, evenings, or weekends—plus paid training and a welcoming team. We provide electric bikes and mileage allowances, and no car is required to start.

Qualifications

• Not necessarily previous care experience; paid training provided.
• Willingness to travel within Ayr area; walking, cycling acceptable.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends or full-time/part-time.

Responsibilities

• Visit vulnerable adults in their own homes to support independence and dignity.
• Help with daily routines: getting ready, breakfast or lunch, companionship.
• Provide a listening ear and friendly conversation to improve wellbeing.

Job Description

What will you be doing?

You will be the highlight of someone’s day. As a Care Professional, you’ll be visiting vulnerable adults in the Ayr community in their own homes, helping them to maintain their independence and dignity. No two days are exactly the same, but your day might include:

• Helping someone get ready for the day with a bright 'good morning' (assisting with washing and dressing).
• Preparing a hearty breakfast or lunch.
• Most importantly, providing a listening ear, a friendly chat, and a bit of much-needed companionship.
