Job summary

Home Instead Aylesbury Vale and North East Oxfordshire is seeking a caring individual to join our community-based Care Assistant team, visiting clients for minimum one-hour stays.

We offer guaranteed contracted hours around your availability, mileage paid at 45p per mile, and opportunities for career progression within a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure clients remain independent within their own homes.
• Provide personal care, such as assisting with bathing, showering or dressing.
• Help clients stay on top of their medications.
• Provide companionship with a warm and welcoming approach.
• Assist with light household tasks such as ironing or cleaning.

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic individual to join our friendly Care Assistant team out in the community providing home visits.

Care Assistant Responsibilities

• Ensure clients remain independent within the comfort of their own homes
• Provide personal care, such as supporting clients with bathing/showering or dressing
• Help clients to stay on top of their medication
• Work in warm and welcoming manner to provide companionship
• Help around the home with light household tasks such as ironing or cleaning

Being a community based, the role requires travel between clients. The main areas we cover are Thame, Aylesbury, and Leighton Buzzard, alongside the surrounding villages.

No specific qualifications or experience are required for this role! We would love to hear about any transferable skills which you have.
