Job summary

AZ Caring Services Ltd in Ashford, Kent, is seeking a Domiciliary Care Assistant to join during a growth period. Based in Ashford, you will be supported from day one by a compassionate team focused on helping clients live independently at home.

You will provide personal care, companionship, and practical support, including medication assistance, meal prep, and errands, with earnings at £14 per hour plus uplifts during Easter and Christmas. 28 days’ leave pro rata and mileage paid are included.

Qualifications

• Previous care giving experience preferred but not essential.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Driver and access to own car.

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping duties such as cleaning, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Assist with medication.
• Prepare meals and assist with meal planning.
• Run errands such as grocery shopping and picking up prescriptions.
• Provide companionship and engage in activities with the customer.
• Assist with personal care.
