Job summary

Sage Care, part of City & County, is hiring care assistants to support clients in their own homes in the Alfreton area. You will follow individual care plans, assist with personal care, medication and daily tasks, helping clients stay independent.

Paid training and shadowing are provided. Benefits include a pension, 28 days leave (pro rata), cycle to work and the Blue Light Card scheme.

Qualifications

• Proficient in effective communication across all levels.
• Shows genuine interest in working with the client group.
• Successfully passed DBS screening.
• Patient, compassionate and positive attitude at all times.

Responsibilities

• Support clients at home following care plans.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, incontinence, toilet).
• Help with medication administration.

What you’ll do

Our care assistants are the extraordinary people who do the everyday things that mean so much to our clients. Supporting them to live safer and supported lives in their own homes, you’ll follow individual care plans and assist with personal care, helping clients to bathe, dress, manage incontinence, use the toilet and supporting them with their medication. You’ll also help with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes and housework.
