Job summary

Abacare in Abergele is seeking Care Assistants to provide in-home support to clients. You’ll follow care plans, assist with personal care such as bathing and dressing, and help with daily tasks to improve client comfort and safety.

No prior social care experience is required; compassion and willingness to learn are valued in our close-knit team. Driving licence and transport are preferred due to location.

Qualifications

• No social care experience required.
• You’ll follow individual care plans and assist with personal care.
• You’ll be resilient and willing to learn new skills as part of a close-knit team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care: bathing, dressing, toileting, incontinence support.
• Support clients with activities of daily living and practical tasks.
• Help with medications under supervision and carry out agreed care plans.

Job description

Shifts available: Part time and full time shift patterns available

A driving licence and access to your own transport is required for this role, due to the location.

Qualifications

Our care assistants are the extraordinary people who do the everyday things that mean so much to our clients. Supporting them to live safer and supported lives in their own homes, you’ll follow individual care plans and assist with personal care, helping clients to bathe, dress, manage incontinence, use the toilet and supporting them with their medication. You’ll also help with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes and housework.
