Job summary

NYC in Northallerton is recruiting Care and Support Workers for the extra care scheme at The Orchards. This permanent, part-time role offers 20 hours per week on a rota, covering Monday to Sunday to meet residents' needs.

Salary ranges from £13.92 to £14.59 per hour plus enhancements of £30 for weekends and £44 for nights. Full training is provided, DBS check arranged, and support for career progression offered.

Salary: £13.92 to £14.59 per hour plus £30 enhancement for each weekend shift worked and £44 enhancement for each night shift worked

The Orchards is an Extra Care facility, delivering person centred care to those who require it within their own homes in the scheme.

Extra Care Housing offers individuals the opportunity to live independently in their own self-contained apartment while having access to care and support whenever it is needed. It combines the privacy and freedom of having your own home with the reassurance of on-site care staff, 24 hours a day.

Our Extra Care Team provides personalised support tailored to each person's needs, including assistance with personal care, medication, meals, mobility, and daily living activities. We also promote wellbeing, independence, and social inclusion, helping people maintain control over their lives while remaining in a safe and supportive environment.
