Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Consultant Radiologist with a special interest in cardiothoracic imaging. The post involves imaging, interventional procedures and biopsy across the Trust, with on-call duties and cross-site work supporting Oxfordshire’s services.

The role includes participation in MDT meetings, teaching and research activities, and opportunities to develop subspecialty interests such as oncological imaging within a major teaching hospital.

Qualifications

• FRCR or equivalent required with GMC registration.
• GMC registration is essential for appointment.
• Thoracic/cardiac radiology training or equivalent is expected.

Responsibilities

• Deliver imaging, intervention and biopsy services across the Trust.
• Attend thoracic MDT meetings and present cases.
• Participate in acute imaging, in-patient CT and US sessions.
• Provide on-call radiology cover and weekend on-site activity.
• Contribute to teaching, training and research activities.
