The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is seeking a Cardiothoracic Anaesthetist to join our dynamic team in Wolverhampton. The postholder will undertake anaesthetic duties across cardiothoracic theatres, cardiothoracic critical care and cardiology, working to a flexible rolling rota with cardiothoracic anaesthetists and participating in the on-call rota.

This replacement appointment joins a tertiary centre renowned for heart and lung care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver anaesthesiology for a wide range of cardiology and cardiothoracic procedures.
• Perform trans-oesophageal echocardiography and provide direct care in the integrated cardiothoracic intensive care unit.
