Job summary

Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a dedicated Cardiology Investigations Unit Administrator to join our busy team. The role focuses on reception duties, patient enquiries, appointment management and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in a busy NHS department.

You will use the Cerner and ERS systems to register patients, book and cancel appointments, record attendance and action DNA's, and work closely with clinical and technical staff to support timely

Qualifications

• Experience in NHS environment is desirable.
• Motivated and respectful with experience of working with the public.
• Good command of administrative software and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Answer queries from patients and other departments.
• Change and book appointments, supporting clinic flow.
• Provide a welcoming reception service and liaise with staff.
• Ensure outcomes for investigations are entered daily.
• Maintain compliance with elective care pathways policies.
• Assist with waiting times and lists for cardiac investigations.
