Job summary

Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in Cambridge invites you to join our Physiotherapy team as a Band 5 Lead Rehabilitation Assistant Practitioner, delivering high-quality rehabilitation to patients with complex cardiothoracic conditions.

You will lead and support our team of Assistant Practitioners, manage a delegated caseload, assess and progress rehab, and contribute to safe discharge planning, induction, competency development and training for junior staff.

Qualifications

• Rehabilitation experience required.
• Leadership, supervision and development of support workers.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience supporting junior staff or students.

Responsibilities

• Manage delegated caseload and progress rehabilitation.
• Assess and progress rehabilitation.
• Support, supervise and develop support workers (induction, competencies, appraisals and training).
