Job summary

Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Wound Care SSI Nurse to specialise in managing wounds for cardiothoracic patients. The role splits 50% to SSI rate reporting for the trust and UKHSA, 50% to a TVN role with potential variation in emphasis.

You will support surveillance, analyse data, and coordinate responses to infection rate trends against national benchmarks. You will deputise for the lead SSI nurse when required and may engage in primary research projects.

Qualifications

• Nursing qualification and NMC registration are essential.
