Job summary

Pertemps Medical Professionals is seeking an experienced Band 6 Cardiac Radiographer to join a busy Cath Lab team in Stoke-on-Trent. The role offers a direct engagement contract, 37.5 hours per week, and an immediate start.

You will perform and support Cath Lab imaging, operate Philips equipment, and support coronary angiography and TAVI procedures in a highly specialised clinical environment. A HCPC registered radiographer with extensive Cath Lab experience is essential.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered radiographer.
• Extensive Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
• Strong knowledge of coronary angiography, TAVI, and fluoroscopy-guided procedures.
• Experience operating Philips imaging systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform and support a range of Cath Lab imaging procedures.
• Operate Philips imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Provide imaging support for coronary angiography, TAVI, fluoroscopy-guided cardiac interventions, and other complex procedures.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and care throughout examinations and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Work collaboratively with cardiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Adhere to NHS protocols, radiation protection regulations, and departmental policies.

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Cardiac Radiographer to join a busy and dynamic Cath Lab team in Stoke. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled radiographer with extensive cardiac imaging experience to work within a highly specialised clinical environment on an ongoing basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and support a range of Cath Lab imaging procedures.


• Operate specialised Philips imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
