Job summary

Pertemps Medical Professionals is actively recruiting a Band 6 Cardiac Radiographer to join a busy Cath Lab team in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a clinically focused, ongoing contract designed for an experienced radiographer with a strong cardiac imaging background who can work confidently in a specialised hospital setting.

You will perform a range of Cath Lab imaging procedures, operate Philips equipment to produce high-quality images, and support procedures such as coronary angiography and TAVI.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as radiographer.
• Extensive Cardiac Cath Lab imaging experience.
• Strong knowledge of coronary angiography and TAVI procedures.
• Experience operating Philips imaging systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform and support a range of Cath Lab imaging procedures.
• Operate Philips imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Provide imaging support for Coronary angiography, TAVI, and fluoroscopy-guided cardiac procedures.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and care throughout examinations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Adhere to NHS protocols and radiation safety regulations.

Pay Rate: £30 per hour (Direct Engagement)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Cardiac Radiographer to join a busy and dynamic Cath Lab team in Stoke. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled radiographer with extensive cardiac imaging experience to work within a highly specialised clinical environment on an ongoing basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and support a range of Cath Lab imaging procedures.
• Operate specialised Philips imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Provide imaging support for: Coronary angiography, TAVI procedures, Fluoroscopy-guided cardiac interventions, Other complex cardiac procedures.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and care throughout all examinations and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Work collaboratively with cardiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Adhere to NHS protocols, radiation protection regulations, and departmental policies.

Essential Requirements

• HCPC registered Radiographer.
• Extensive experience working within a Cardiac Cath Lab environment.
• Strong knowledge of coronary angiography, TAVI, and fluoroscopy-guided procedures.
• Experience operating Philips imaging systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
