Job summary

University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is seeking a Staff Nurse to join the Cardiac Cath Labs at Glenfield Hospital, a leading tertiary cardiac centre. You will work within a dedicated team delivering high-quality patient care, with on-call commitments and an emphasis on developing specialist cardiology skills.

The role requires at least 12 months' post-registration NHS experience in an acute setting and competence in caring for acutely unwell patients.

Qualifications

• RN with 12 months' post-registration NHS experience in an acute clinical setting.
• Competent in caring for acutely unwell patients.
• On-call commitment essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for groups of patients.
• Support ward/clinical area management and organisation.
• Educate and supervise junior staff and learners.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure patient needs are met.
