Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust in Barnet is seeking a Band 6 Cardiac Catheter Lab Senior Staff Nurse to join a specialist Cardiac Rhythm Management team. The role involves leadership in electrophysiology and cardiac device services, with opportunities to advance clinical expertise.

The successful candidate will coordinate the cath lab, participate in EP studies, complex ablations, and device implant procedures, while delivering high-quality patient care across the pathway.

Qualifications

• Substantial post-registration experience within cardiology, cardiac catheterisation laboratories, coronary care, or other acute clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical care throughout the patient pathway including pre-assessment and post-procedural recovery.
• Take day-to-day coordination of the clinical area and provide professional leadership to junior colleagues.
• Support delivery of electrophysiology and cardiac device procedures such as EP studies, complex ablations, pacemakers and ICDs.
