North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust in Carlisle is seeking a Band 5 Staff Nurse to deliver and review high-quality nursing care in acute cardiac and medical settings. You will monitor rhythms, support patients in higher-dependency care, and rotate across coronary care, Willow C and The Heart Centre.

The role requires active NMC registration, DBS checks, and a flexible, patient-centred approach with mentorship of junior staff and students.

Qualifikationen

• Active NMC registration as a registered nurse.
• Acute cardiac and medical nursing experience.
• Mentoring or teaching experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating CPD and ongoing professional development.

Aufgaben

• Assess, plan, deliver and review nursing care across acute cardiac areas without supervision.
• Provide care for cardiology and medical patients, including acute cardiac conditions.
• Analyse rhythms using telemetry and bedside monitoring systems.
• Supervise healthcare assistants, junior staff and students.
• Rotate across coronary care, Willow C and The Heart Centre.
• Support patients through discharge and care journey.
• Contribute to developing nursing practice in the acute cardiac areas.
