Job summary

STRABAG SE seeks a Carbon Manager to lead carbon management across the HARP project lifecycle. This role focuses on developing and maintaining complex whole-life carbon assessments, managing KPIs, and ensuring PAS2080 compliance while embedding energy and circularity considerations in design and construction decisions.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, drive carbon reductions, and contribute to sustainability workshops with suppliers and stakeholders to advance net-zero

Qualifications

• Degree in Sustainability, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Engineering background with experience delivering technical projects from concept to delivery.
• Experience delivering whole life carbon assessments for engineering/construction projects.
• Ability to drive behavioural change on carbon reduction and sustainability initiatives.
• Experience influencing senior management on carbon reduction opportunities.
• Membership or progression toward ICE or ISEP or similar body.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project's carbon management and carbon reduction plans for the lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain complex whole life cycle carbon assessments.
• Manage carbon performance against project targets and KPIs.
• Implement PAS2080-compliant procedures and support ISO 50001.
• Embed carbon, energy and circularity into engineering and construction decisions.
• Support procurement by evaluating low-carbon materials and energy-efficient solutions.
• Maintain carbon and energy registers, dashboards and client reports.
• Facilitate carbon and sustainability workshops with project teams and partners.
