Perfect Placement is recruiting an experienced Car Sales Manager for a busy main dealership in Basingstoke. You will lead a high-performing sales team, develop and implement effective sales strategies, and drive dealership performance to meet ambitious targets.The role offers a competitive base salary of £45,000 with an OTE of £65,000, Monday–Friday with weekend rota, and a company car. You will report to senior management within a supportive dealership group committed to career progression.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in automotive sales management, preferably within a main dealer environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Demonstrable track record of exceeding sales targets.
• Flexibility to work weekends as needed.
• Knowledge of the Basingstoke automotive market is advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the dealership's car sales team to meet and exceed set targets.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies in the Basingstoke market.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through quality service.
• Motivate, coach, and support the sales team to optimise performance.
• Monitor daily sales activities and report progress to senior management.
• Manage weekend cover for the sales team on a flexible rota.
• Maintain compliance with dealership policies and industry regulations.
