Qualifications

  • Experience as a car sales executive, retail manager, or sales manager preferred.

About the Job

We are currently recruiting for a Car Sales Executive to join our Volkswagen Dealership in Coventry.

The hours of work are between 8.30am to 6pm Monday to Saturday, with a day off in the week, and working 10am to 4pm on Sundays on a rota basis.

Benefits include use of a company car and an OTE of £50,000.

As a Sales Executive with Listers, you’ll ensure every customer feels valued by understanding how our vehicles fit into their lives. Your role involves matching customers to the right cars, with the appropriate features and add-ons. You will manage financing, contracts, and aim for total customer satisfaction throughout the process.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Build trust and communicate effectively to exceed customer expectations.
  • Maximise opportunities through prospecting, follow-up calls, inbound enquiries, walk-ins, and internet leads.
  • Achieve monthly KPIs for unit sales, profit per unit, finance penetration, and add-on products.
  • Adhere to FCA and data protection regulations by accurately collecting customer and vehicle data to enhance the customer database.
About You

This role may suit someone with experience as a car sales executive, retail manager, or sales manager. You should demonstrate a proven ability to meet and exceed targets, establish rapport quickly with customers, and have the potential to build a successful career in the industry. A valid UK driver’s license is required. Experience in the motor trade, automotive, or car dealership is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
