About the Job

Due to an internal move, we are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive to join the well-established and successful team at our dealership in Coventry.

Listers ŠKODA Coventry is one of the largest ŠKODA retailers in the UK, with ŠKODA UK ending a remarkable 2024 with a significant rise in UK registrations and a record-breaking 4% market share.

This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join us as we continue to develop and as ŠKODA UK aims to sustain their success.

The working hours are from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Saturday, with a day off during the week, and 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sundays on a rota basis.

Benefits include a company car and an OTE of £50,000.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Sales Executive at Listers, you’ll ensure every customer feels valued by understanding how our vehicles fit into their lives. You will match customers to the right cars, including features and add-ons, and guide them through financing and contracts to achieve total satisfaction.

You will build trust, communicate effectively, and exceed customer expectations through qualification and creating a positive first impression. You will maximize opportunities via prospecting, follow-up calls, inbound inquiries, walk-ins, and internet leads. Achieving monthly KPIs for unit sales, profit per unit, finance penetration, and add-ons is essential. You will also adhere to FCA and data protection regulations by accurately collecting customer and vehicle data to enhance our database quality.

About You

This role may suit someone with experience as a car sales executive, retail manager, or sales manager, with a proven ability to meet and exceed targets. The ability to quickly build rapport with customers is essential. A valid UK driver’s license is required. Experience in the motor trade, automotive, or car dealership sectors is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
