Job summary

Daval Associates is seeking a vigilant Car Park Marshal in North Baddesley to ensure safe, efficient operation of our parking facilities. You will guide vehicle movement, manage spaces, and maintain a secure environment for visitors and staff, starting early shifts and working 30 hours over 5 days.

The role requires clear communication, physical fitness to stand and assist, and a practical approach to vehicle handling.

Qualifications

• Experience driving, including commercial/van driving.
• Excellent communication with drivers and visitors.
• Mechanical knowledge helpful for minor repairs.
• Experience in warehouse or delivery driving preferred.
• Familiarity with flatbed trucks is a plus.
• Ability to operate various vehicle types safely.
• Good physical fitness to stand and assist for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Direct drivers to parking spots and optimize space use.
• Manage vehicle flow at entry/exit points.
• Assist with parking and retrieval for delivery/service vehicles.
• Conduct routine safety checks and report hazards.
• Coordinate with drivers, visitors, and team members via clear communication.
• Support delivery drivers with directions and loading/unloading when needed.
• Monitor CCTV and patrol to maintain a secure environment.

We are seeking a vigilant Car Park Marshal to ensure the smooth, safe operation of our parking facilities. In this role, you will direct vehicle movement, manage parking spaces, and maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will help create a positive experience for everyone using our car park. This position offers an engaging opportunity to be the friendly face of our parking operations while ensuring safety and efficiency at all times.

Duties

• Guide drivers to available parking spots, ensuring efficient use of space
• Manage vehicle flow within the car park, including entry and exit points
• Assist with vehicle parking and retrieval, especially for delivery vans and service vehicles
• Conduct routine safety checks around the parking area, reporting any hazards or issues
• +Communicate clearly with drivers, visitors, and team members to coordinate movements effectively
• Support delivery drivers by providing directions and assisting with loading or unloading when necessary
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure environment by monitoring CCTV footage and performing patrols

Skills

• Proven experience in driving, including commercial driving or van driving roles
• Strong communication skills to interact confidently with drivers and visitors
• Mechanical knowledge beneficial for understanding vehicle issues or minor repairs
• Previous warehouse or delivery driver experience is advantageous for understanding logistics operations
