Job summary

Aon Insurance Managers (Guernsey) Limited is seeking an Insurance Manager to lead a portfolio of captive clients with a mix of technical insurance work and client relationship management in Guernsey.

You will work with senior client partners, contribute to regulatory compliance and governance, and help develop captive solutions while mentoring junior staff and collaborating across Aon’s global network.

Qualifications

• ACII or equivalent with strong technical knowledge of insurance and reinsurance.
• General insurance experience; captive insurance experience desirable.
• Strong client service focus and relationship skills.
• Experience with insurance and claims data; support management accounts inputs.
• Experience supervising staff or coaching colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day insurance servicing and renewals for a portfolio of captive clients, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Review materials for client Board and Committee meetings and communicate insurance topics.
• Draft and review meeting minutes and contract wordings to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Develop relationships with clients, regulators, insurers and brokers; keep clients informed of developments.
• Collaborate with the Client Services Director and wider team to achieve AIM and client goals; support budgets.
• Provide and review timely insurance and claims information for finance in management accounts.
• Train, supervise and develop staff reporting to you.
