This is a unique opportunity to take the lead on major capital investment projects across all stages of whisky production – fromdistillation and maturation to bottling and packaging. With significant investment planned, this is a high-impact role at the heart of the company’s future growth, innovation, and sustainability strategy.

The Opportunity:

As Capital Projects Manager, you will driveend-to-end deliveryof capital projects including site upgrades, equipment installations, layout changes and new builds. You will work across multi-disciplinary teams and sites, ensuring that all projects areexecuted to scope, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards in safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a wide variety of capital projects across distillery, maturation, and packaging operations.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, timelines, and risk registers.
• Ensure projects align with business growth, technical compliance (DSEAR/ATEX), and HMRC regulations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with H&S, operations, quality, sustainability, and external contractors.
• Champion energy-efficient and sustainable design throughout all capital initiatives.
• Report on project ROI and support annual/long-term capital investment plans.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience delivering capital projects in a manufacturing or process-driven environment (distilling/FMCG/pharma/food ideal but other process industries are considered).
• Strong understanding of project governance, legislation, and compliance (e.g. DSEAR, ATEX, HMRC bonded).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and sustainability.
• Relevant engineering or technical degree preferred but other similar qualifications considered.
