Job summary

London Borough of Hackney is seeking an experienced Capital Project Manager to lead multi-million-pound housing investment and capital schemes from inception through completion. You will own the full project lifecycle and act as contract administrator, guiding site meetings, reviews, and ensuring on-time delivery within budget.

You will manage CDM compliance, risk, and cross-disciplinary teams while communicating with senior management, councillors, and residents to articulate goals and resolve

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent significant experience.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and risk management.
• Contract administration and procurement experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-million-pound housing investment and capital schemes from inception to completion.
• Act as contract administrator for framework and standalone agreements; lead site meetings and technical reviews.
• Ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to high standards; manage CDM requirements and risk mitigation.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams (quantity surveyors, clerks of works, resident liaison officers) and coordinate stakeholders.
