Job summary

Florence Arts Centre is seeking an experienced and strategic Capital Programme Manager to lead the delivery of Phase 1 of its ambitious heritage and cultural redevelopment project.

Working closely with the Director, Board, Capital Project Board and wider Community Advisory Group, funders, professional advisors and contractors, the postholder will act as the client-side lead, ensuring the successful planning, coordination and delivery of the project from development through to completion and

Qualifications

• Experience delivering capital development projects.
• Ability to lead client-side delivery and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Strategic project management and governance with Boards.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and delivery from development through to completion and handover.
• Collaborate with the Director, Board, Capital Project Board and funders to meet milestones.
• Manage relationships with advisors, contractors and other key partners.

This is a once in a generation opportunity to deliver the first phase of one of West Cumbria’s most significant heritage, arts and regeneration projects. The successful individual will play a pivotal role in transforming Florence Mine into a regionally recognised centre for arts, heritage and sustainability.

Fees

We have a flexible approach to how the contract is completed. We will consider full time employees (up to £33k pa) or a part time consultant fee proposal.
