Job summary

YouLend in London seeks a Portfolio Management Associate, Data & Analytics to join our Capital Markets team. You will build data models that monitor capital mandates and own performance analysis for lenders and senior management, creating robust infrastructure and trustworthy interpretation.

Responsibilities include end-to-end portfolio monitoring, automated reporting, dashboard design, and cashflow modelling, with production-quality SQL/Python and dbt collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, capital markets, structured finance or a comparable quantitative role.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• Advanced, hands-on SQL and Python with ability to build and automate analytical code.
• Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends and communicate insights to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own portfolio monitoring end to end, writing code to produce numbers and interpreting them.
• Build and automate monitoring and reporting to track performance and facility utilisation.
• Design dashboards and visualisations for executives, lenders and investors.
• Assess performance of capital mandates using vintage, cohort analysis and cashflow metrics.
• Develop scenario and sensitivity analyses and interpret outputs for capital decisions.
• Maintain cashflow and waterfall models supporting portfolio decisions and refinancing.
• Write production-quality SQL and Python and collaborate with data engineers on dbt models.
• Apply engineering discipline: version control, testing and documentation.
• Translate analysis into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders and external partners.
