Job summary

FTI Consulting LLP in London invites applications for a full-time off-cycle internship with the Capital Markets Services team. The 6-month placement may be renewed for a further 6 months and offers exposure to financial, commodity and energy markets.

You will work alongside junior consultants, conducting research and analyses under the guidance of senior team members, and you may contribute to articles, proposals and market insights.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a BA/BSc, MSc or PhD in a quantitative discipline; MSc or PhD preferred.
• Strong programming knowledge (e.g. Python, R Studio, C++) preferred.
• Applicants will be problem-solvers who enjoy developing and applying bespoke approaches to solve complex, unstructured problems in a logical manner.
• Good analytical skills and ability to explain findings clearly, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Interns work with the Capital Markets Services team and may be involved across EFC’s work, focusing on financial, commodity and energy markets.
• Carry out quantitative, industry and market analysis under guidance from more senior team members.
• Report findings in a clear, concise and structured way, verbally or in writing; assist with articles and proposals.
