Job summary

FTI Consulting in London is offering a full-time, off-cycle internship with the Capital Markets Services team for 6 months, with the possibility of renewal for a further 6 months. As an intern you will work with the Capital Markets Services team, performing research and analyses, and supporting the junior consultants with writing articles, proposals and client-ready presentations.

You will develop quantitative skills, apply valuation and risk management concepts, and learn from senior colleagues

Qualifications

• Studying towards a BA/BSc, MSc or PhD in a quantitative discipline; MSc or PhD preferred.
• Strong programming knowledge (Python, R Studio, C++) preferred.
• Applicants will be problem-solvers who enjoy developing and applying bespoke approaches to solve complex, unstructured problems in a logical manner.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Bloomberg/Reuters is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interns and junior consultants are centrally involved in conducting research and analysis and report findings clearly, verbally or in writing.
• The role will involve: supporting the senior team with writing articles and preparing proposals and presentations for new opportunities.
• Performing research and collaborating in the implementation of proprietary valuation and risk management solutions.
• Implementing practical solutions to address client issues, by bringing industry insight and experiences.
