Job summary

Marlin Selection seeks a Business Manager for its Capital Markets division in London. The role partners with the Capital Markets COO and senior heads to drive strategic delivery, improve operations and lead key commercial initiatives across Front Office, Operations, Technology, Legal, Compliance, Risk and Finance.

The successful candidate will coordinate complex projects from concept to implementation, manage governance materials, and support regulatory reviews, while balancing competing

Qualifications

• Experience in Business Management, COO office, Strategy and Execution within financial services or regulated environments.
• Proven track record delivering major initiatives across multiple functions.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior colleagues.
• Experience across commercial, infrastructure and control teams.
• Knowledge of MiFID II and/or payment services regulation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; preparing materials for governance forums.

Responsibilities

• Support the COO and senior heads with day-to-day management and strategic delivery.
• Drive complex initiatives from concept to implementation (new launches, product expansion, market entry).
• Coordinate delivery across Front Office, Operations, Technology, Legal, Compliance, Risk and Finance.
• Define scope, milestones, operating models and delivery plans with clear accountability.
• Improve front-to-back workflows, scalability and controls; support new product/market assessments.
• Prepare senior management presentations, committee papers and management reporting.
• Support audits, regulatory reviews and governance actions and escalate issues, risks and dependencies.
