Job summary

Middlesbrough Council is seeking an Asset Officer within the Regeneration and Housing Directorate's Property Built Asset Service to lead capital maintenance programme delivery. The role focuses on developing projects for asset surveys, private and public funding streams, and coordinating with the in-house design team through feasibilities, procurement and construction phases.

• Proven project and asset management experience.
• Knowledge of Building Regulations and Planning requirements.
• A qualification in Building construction and asset management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of asset surveys in line with government/best practice requirements.
• Work with education and corporate finance officers to monitor funding streams.
• Provide a Project Management role and work with the in-house design team on feasibilities, contractor procurement and construction.
