Job summary

Unity Advisory is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its capital allowances offering, delivering complex engagements from acquisitions to large construction programmes across sectors. You will manage budgets, relationships with senior finance teams and oversee claims and reports.

You will shape the practice, applying AI and automation to improve claim preparation, data analysis and client reporting while developing colleagues and seeking new work across Unity.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in UK capital allowances or fixed asset tax advisory, leading complex engagements.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK capital allowances legislation and property/asset projects.
• Clear communication with CFOs and senior stakeholders; credibility across clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital allowances engagements from scoping to delivery within budgets and timelines.
• Build and manage senior client relationships, advise on capital expenditure and tax reliefs.
• Oversee preparation and review of capital allowances claims and technical reports.
• Support transactions including due diligence and elections for capital allowances.
• Develop the practice with technology, AI, analytics and improved delivery methods.
• Coach and develop colleagues; drive recruitment as the practice grows.
