You will maintain strong financial controls, collaborate with finance and operational teams, and provide insightful financial analysis to support forecasts and decision-making.

What will the Capital Accountant role involve?

• Lead capital accounting, fixed asset management and IFRS 16 reporting, ensuring accuracy across a significant Property, Plant & Equipment portfolio
• Maintain robust financial controls, governance and accounting processes, delivering high-quality financial reporting and compliance
• Partner with finance and operational stakeholders to coordinate information, support forecasting and provide meaningful financial insight
• Present actual and forecast performance to senior leadership, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations

Suitable Candidate for the Capital Accountant vacancy:

• A recognised accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in financial accounting
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Adept at working independently and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders
