Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group is supporting a leading healthcare organisation in Basingstoke by recruiting a Capital Accountant. The role focuses on capital accounting, fixed asset management and IFRS 16 reporting within a dynamic, inclusive environment designed for professional development.

Qualifications

• A recognised accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in financial accounting.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Adept at working independently and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital accounting, fixed asset management and IFRS 16 reporting, ensuring accuracy across a significant Property, Plant & Equipment portfolio.
• Maintain robust financial controls, governance and accounting processes, delivering high-quality financial reporting and compliance.
• Partner with finance and operational stakeholders to coordinate information, support forecasting and provide meaningful financial insight.
• Present actual and forecast performance to senior leadership, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations.
