Job summary

Cubis Systems in the United Kingdom is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead Capex project delivery, optimise processes and drive manufacturing excellence within the Capex portfolio.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain to implement automation, improve safety, quality and efficiency, while ensuring compliance and delivering business case benefits. The role supports NPI activities and ERP data management across sites.

Qualifications

• Educated to HNC/HND level or equivalent in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Capex projects with project governance and ROI analyses.
• Develop business cases for capital investments and perform risk assessments.
• Manage CapEx execution within budget, on time, and to safety standards.
• Specify and integrate new automation technologies and equipment.
• Develop testing protocols and commissioning plans for new systems.
• Oversee contractors and suppliers during installation and commissioning.
• Conduct benefit reviews to confirm savings and performance.
• Carry out time studies and update ERP data to improve planning.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence.
