Job summary

Ocean Network Express (Europe) Ltd. Filial I Finland is seeking a Capacity Management Analyst to coordinate daily vessel space management across Europe, implementing Trade Marketing policies and ensuring efficient space utilisation in a hybrid work environment.

The role emphasizes maximizing cargo yield, KPI reporting, cost containment, and maintaining in-house systems, with a focus on collaboration and strategic problem solving to support regional performance objectives.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Google AI (Gemini).
• Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize workloads effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Capacity Management Focal Point for assigned services ensuring 100% space utilisation (TEU/BSA).
• Maximize yield through optimal cargo mix prioritising light weight/high-yield cargoes.
• Perform regular structural review of region performance against target levels, produce KPI reports & follow-up on any performance deviations.
• Cost minimisation: Actively contain operational, storage, and port costs across assigned services.
• Control Tower oversight: Serve as the central mediator aligning commercial goals with operational feasibility.
• Represent the Capacity Management department at internal and external meetings as required.
• Maintain proficiency in ONE’s in-house operating systems, performing timely and accurate reviews and maintenance.
• Strategic optimisation: Balance empty container repositioning, accommodate customer needs, and preserve partner interests.
• Coordinate the implementation booking office & customer-wise allocations. Execute the Account Plan.
• Vessel & Route Management: Monitor vessel utilisation, optimise routings, manage wayport space, and minimise port dwell times.
