Compensation: £43,935 + Benefits

The role

As a Capability Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Join a dynamic and agile team with excellent career progression opportunities. This role offers a chance to drive meaningful change by implementing innovative global processes to modernise legacy engineering systems.

Day-to-day, you’ll support the maintenance and development of Engineering processes, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Manage process feedback and update existing technical processes.
Lead periodic reviews of design and technical processes.
Facilitate and, when needed, lead local process improvement initiatives.
Support internal and external audits to maintain ISO9001 compliance.
Provide technical guidance on engineering process applications.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.

Essential Experience Of The Capability Engineer

Relevant experience in engineering, demonstrating expertise in technical processes, process improvement, and industry standards.

Qualifications For The Capability Engineer

Must be educated to HNC level in a STEM discipline (or time served Engineering Apprenticeship)
Registered as an Incorporated Engineer (or the ability to achieve professional status in the future) – Desirable.

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPPI) security clearance for this role.
