The role
As a Capability Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Join a dynamic and agile team with excellent career progression opportunities. This role offers a chance to drive meaningful change by implementing innovative global processes to modernise legacy engineering systems.

Day-to-day, you’ll support the maintenance and development of Engineering processes, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement.

  • Manage process feedback and update existing technical processes.
  • Lead periodic reviews of design and technical processes.
  • Facilitate and, when needed, lead local process improvement initiatives.
  • Support internal and external audits to maintain ISO9001 compliance.
  • Provide technical guidance on engineering process applications.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.

Essential experience of the Capability Engineer

  • Relevant experience in engineering, demonstrating expertise in technical processes, process improvement, and industry standards.

Qualifications for the Capability Engineer

  • Must be educated to HNC level in a STEM discipline (or time served Engineering Apprenticeship)
  • Registered as an Incorporated Engineer (or the ability to achieve professional status in the future) – Desirable.

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPPI) security clearance for this role.
