Absolute Interpreting and Translations Ltd is seeking Cantonese interpreters to work in Newcastle Upon Tyne and surrounding areas. The role supports NHS trusts, councils, law firms, and private clients through face-to-face, telephone, and video remote interpreting.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Cantonese (or another language) is required.
• Right to work in the UK is required.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply) is preferred.
• Proof of ID and address is required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret in NHS hospitals, GP practices, social services, schools, courts and housing/council settings.
• Provide high quality consecutive/interpretation for clients and professionals.
• Support community access by offering reliable freelance interpreting services.
