Job summary

Spire Southampton Hospital is seeking an experienced Cancer Services Lead to provide leadership in SACT services, education and support for the cancer team. You will drive high quality care and safety compliance while advancing cancer service development within a private hospital setting.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse with significant Oncology experience.
Qualified in venepuncture and cannulation and use of CVADs.
Evidence of CPD in management and cancer studies.
Degree level qualification and NMC registration.

Responsibilities

Develop practice in assessment of health and wellbeing needs within SACT/cancer services.
Provide and receive complex information across cancer services.
Develop knowledge and practice and support others’ professional development.
Create a working environment that improves health, safety and security.
Develop strategies and policies for cancer services.
Lead others in knowledge development within cancer care.
Improve quality and safety compliance.
