Job summary

Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust is seeking a motivated Cancer Services Pharmacy Support Worker to join the Medicines Optimisation team. You will contribute to safe, efficient and cost-effective pharmacy services across the Trust, supporting patients, wards and departments with their medicines needs, including dispensing, labelling and stock management.

You will train and support healthcare professionals within the Medicines Optimisation team and participate in service improvements to deliver

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent).
• Good Maths, English and Science education.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document medication information from patients.
• Assist medicines reconciliation and manage patients' own medicines.
• Dispense and label medicines, including discharge prescriptions and controlled drugs.
