Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Oxford is recruiting for a fixed-term Band 4 administrator to support cancer multidisciplinary pathways. You will handle a busy email inbox, chase information from other Trusts, and prepare detailed MDT meeting lists and reports.

Training will be provided; some remote work may be possible after initial on-site training. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail and ability to communicate clearly with clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Experience on basic computer programs
• Willingness and enthusiasm to learn and quickly become part of a team
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• NHS Experience
• Knowledge of cancer/medical terminology
• Experience in a role that involved facilitation and co-ordination
• Ability to multi task

Responsibilities

• Managing a busy email account and requesting scans and pathology from other Trusts
• Producing accurate and detailed meeting lists and reports and disseminating outcomes to clinical teams swiftly
• Attendance at clinical decision making meetings as well as pathway meetings
• Updating the cancer database and tracking patients through their pathway
