Job summary

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an MDT Co-ordinator to support the cancer clinical pathway and MDT at West Middlesex Hospital, with cross-site duties to Chelsea & Westminster. The post involves collecting data into the Somerset cancer database, preparing lists, and ensuring COSD/Audit data are captured accurately.

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational and communication skills with good attention to detail.
• Experience with data entry and health data systems is desirable.
• Ability to work across sites and coordinate multiple MDT meetings.

Responsibilities

• Arrange, cover and co-ordinate MDT meetings for designated specialties.
• Ensure MDT areas are prepared with imaging and required documentation; arrange pre/post MDT meetings.
• Capture COSD and Audit data and transfer onto Somerset; include staging, CNS present at diagnosis, next steps.
• Review data uploaded on Somerset for accuracy; meet weekly with MDT lead and/or lead CNS to validate.
• Circulate and maintain attendance records for MDT meetings; ensure minutes are circulated post MDT.
• Ensure a clinical staff member documents outcomes from the start of the MDT.
• Escalate delays in patient pathways (e.g., diagnostic tests) to ensure timely action.
• Raise actions on the FDP 360 platform and track updates; escalate unresolved actions.
