Job summary

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Cancer MDT Coordinator to support the Cancer Data Team. The role involves organising MDT meetings, managing schedules, and ensuring accurate data capture and documentation for patient discussions.

You will interact with clinical and non-clinical staff, require strong organisational skills, and familiarity with medical terminology. Training will be provided; deadline-focused work and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with data collection and database processes in a healthcare setting.
• Administrative experience with ability to manage competing priorities.
• Familiarity with medical terminologies and clinical terminology.
• Excellent communication with clinical and non-clinical staff and patients where appropriate.
• Willingness to learn and work in a MDT environment.

Responsibilities

• Organise regular multi-disciplinary team meetings with core members.
• Communicate any cancellations or changes in MDT meetings with all stakeholders.
• Arrange provisions for MDT meetings, including lunch-time sessions and venue changes.
• Compile lists of patients for MDT discussions in collaboration with clinicians.
• Prepare and circulate MDT meeting agendas and ensure records are complete.
