University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Clinical Trials Assistant on a 12-month fixed-term contract to support cancer trials within the Cellular Therapy Team. Based in the Cancer Clinical Trials Unit at 250 Euston Road, you will handle administration, patient coordination and data tasks to help deliver in-house and multi-center studies.

You will join a supportive team, gain training, and manage your workload to meet study milestones, with emphasis on accuracy,

Qualificações

• Interest in clinical research and cancer
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data handling

Responsabilidades

• Sending, collecting and storing questionnaires
• Handling incoming mail and correspondence
• Providing a high quality personal assistant service to the team when needed
• Attending clinics if/when requested by the Nurse/Coordinator
• Retrieval/creation and maintenance of patient notes
• Requesting and sending biological samples
• Supporting data managers with relevant queries
• Maintaining up to date and accurate filing systems – paper and IT
• Assisting with surveys/audits as required
• High degree of interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with a wide range of personnel
• Familiar with Trust IT systems
• Taking minutes at departmental meetings
• Completing mandatory training and other recommended training
• Prioritising workload, meeting deadlines and tackling problems systematically
• Maintaining confidentiality of patient related information
