Job summary

University of Sussex is opening its first Unitemps Branch on Falmer Campus in early 2027. As Branch Manager you will lead the launch, operation and growth of the branch, developing a business plan to identify new internal opportunities and building strong relationships with local employers.

You will manage the Unitemps team, work with stakeholders across the University to deliver a cohesive recruitment offering, and ensure the branch operates on campus five days a week, including events such as

Qualifications

• Experience driving recruitment sales targets and hitting growth objectives.
• Strong understanding of local recruitment market and business development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proven leadership.
• Experience managing a team in a fast-paced recruitment environment.

Responsibilities

• Launch, operate and grow the Unitemps branch on campus.
• Develop a business plan to identify new internal opportunities and relationships with local employers.
• Lead, motivate and develop the Unitemps team and align with University stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with Careers, HR, Student Recruitment, Widening Participation and Faculty Operations.
• Open the branch for key university events and ensure campus-based operation 5 days a week.
