Job summary

Active Together is seeking an energetic coordinator to establish and deliver campus league activities, pop-up sessions, and social tournaments for Leicester's university community. You will build relationships across campus, plan and coordinate events, and ensure an inclusive, engaging student experience.

The role emphasizes data collection to improve offerings, strong communication, and a customer-focused approach in a busy higher-education setting.

Qualifications

Proven experience in coordinating and delivering sport, physical activity, or recreational programmes.
Background working in a team-based, customer-focused environment.
Strong organisational, coordination, and IT skills (Microsoft Office, email, internet).
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to work flexibly.
Degree-level qualification or equivalent.
Experience working within Higher Education or directly with university students.
Ability to collect, analyse, and use participation data to inform programme development.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and deliver campus league activities, introductory pop-up sessions, and social tournaments.
Lead the operational execution of sports programmes and build relationships across the university.
Manage resources and collate participation data to continuously improve offers.
