Job summary

Wycombe Abbey seeks a customer-focused Custodian to join the School’s security team and help provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

The role combines security operations, customer service and site management, with a 40-hour week on a rotating rota that includes day and night shifts, a paid 30 minute meal break, and a 30-day holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• Experience in security operations and access control.
• Strong customer service and professional interaction with staff and visitors.
• Willingness to work a 40-hour rota including day and night shifts.
• Commitment to safeguarding and DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Manage access control and monitor CCTV systems.
• Undertake regular patrols and respond to incidents.
• Oversee visitor sign-in procedures and parking support.
• Provide a professional, welcoming presence to staff and visitors.
• Coordinate deliveries and events to ensure smooth operations.
